When is payment due? What methods of payment are accepted?
Final payment is due two weeks prior to the wedding. We accept certified cheques, e-transfers, cash, debit, Visa, and MasterCard. Please note that credit card payments are subject to a 3% processing fee.
How much does a wedding at Clinton Hills cost?
Wedding pricing varies depending on your event details and menu selections. Please refer to our Packages page for current pricing information.
How many guests can the barn accommodate?
The Loft in our barn can accommodate up to 200 guests seated.
The Stable on the main level offers a comfortable space for mingling, receptions, or additional seating arrangements depending on the style of your event.
Can we bring our own alcohol to Clinton Hills?
No. Clinton Hills is a fully licensed venue, which means outside alcohol is not permitted on the premises. We offer two licensed bars located inside the barn to serve your guests.
Can we hire our own bartender?
No. Our professional and friendly bartenders are provided by Clinton Hills and will serve all bar service during your event.
Why is security provided at Clinton Hills?
Security is provided for the safety of our guests and to ensure compliance with PEI liquor regulations. Alcohol may only be consumed in designated licensed areas of the property. At Clinton Hills these areas include the Loft, Stable, balcony, and our outdoor courtyard. Security helps ensure these regulations are followed so your event can proceed smoothly without interruption.

What should we know about decorating for our wedding?
The barn is available starting at 9:00 AM on the day of the wedding for decorating.
If you choose to bring your own decorations or hire an outside decorator, please coordinate decorating and pickup times with the Clinton Hills event coordinator. Clinton Hills is not responsible for damage to or loss of decorations brought onto the property.
Can we give guests wine or alcohol as wedding favors?
Due to PEI liquor laws, alcohol cannot be brought onto the premises, including as guest favors.
Do we have to use Clinton Hills catering services?
Yes. All food served at Clinton Hills is prepared by our in-house culinary team to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with health regulations.
Can we bring our own food?
No. Due to Department of Health regulations, all food served at Clinton Hills must be prepared by our in-house chef and catering team. Please refer to our Wedding Menu page for available options.
What happens if it rains on the day of our outdoor ceremony?
In the event of rain or inclement weather, your ceremony can be moved indoors to ensure your day runs smoothly. Our team will work with you in advance to create a backup plan so you can relax and enjoy your wedding day.
Is there parking available for guests?
Yes. Clinton Hills offers ample on-site parking for guests attending your event.
What time do events need to end?
Last call is at 12:30am, music and the bar will end/close at 1am. Everyone is to be off the premises by 1:30am.
Do you provide a wedding coordinator?
Yes. A Clinton Hills wedding day coordinator is included with your venue rental. Our coordinator helps ensure your day runs smoothly and assists with venue-related details on the day of your wedding.
Can we visit the venue before booking?
Yes. We would be happy to arrange a tour of Clinton Hills so you can see the property and discuss your event plans. Please contact us to schedule a viewing.
How do we reserve our wedding date?
Your date is secured once a signed contract and deposit have been received. Dates are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
